Brentford FC sign with ts Venue

Looking to the future, Brentford FC chooses ts.com for ticketing

Looking for a system which could offer them a simpler, faster and more fan-friendly solution for the 2008/9 season, Brentford FC have chosen ts Venue from ticketing specialists ts.com to manage their ticketing.  The club and their fans will also benefit from the flexibility offered by ts Venue as they plan for the future.  In 2012 Brentford FC move to the new Lionel Road stadium, where bwill support their increased crowd capacity and integrated access control for fast entry and minimal queues.

With the contract signed this week, ts.com are planning to have the new system implemented and live at the Coca-Cola League Two club within four weeks, supporting sales of 2008/9 season tickets.  Online sales, speedy ticket collections and fast match day sales will be rolled out in plenty of time for the start of the new season.

Ticket Office Manager David Enstone was instrumental in the choice of the new system and comments on the reasons for selecting ts Venue, “Our existing ticketing system was very complex and had many features that we just never used.  The presentation and support we have received from ts.com has been excellent.  They really understood that our main focus is how to increase our ticket sales, rather than an emphasis on having complex reporting and analysis.  The ts Venue system is much more user friendly, and I am looking forward to improving our online advance ticket sales and giving our supporters a far better match day ticketing experience.”

He continues, “We have not been too fruitful with online ticket sales in the past, as the system was not very customer friendly and caused us a lot of administrative work.  We have listened to our supporter’s requests for an easy online booking process, which we feel ts Venue can offer.  And we have the added benefit of being able to offer season ticket renewals online which we feel will really please our supporters.”

Brentford FC are currently planning the development of their new stadium at Lionel Road where they will move to in 2012.  “Access control will be very important for us in the new stadium and we want to implement systems that can be used in Lionel Road as well.  The bar coded tickets that ts Venue offers are very much part of our future plans.  We can see the benefit of using them now, as well as being able to see how we can maximise their potential when we move to our new stadium.  The ability to handle large volumes is also important for our ticketing system.  At Griffin Park we have a capacity of 12,500, but are looking to double that in the new stadium, and are looking forward to ts Venue handling capacity crowds at Lionel Road, as well as for the seasons we have left at Griffin Park.” David concludes.
Mark Ellis, Managing Director of ts.com, responded “We are delighted to be providing Brentford FC with their ticketing solution.  ts Venue meets their needs now at Griffin Park and will help the club transition to the new stadium at Lionel Road in 2012.  We will be working with Brentford FC closely in the coming weeks to support their 2008/9 season ticket sales, and make sure that they are ready to offer their fans a much improved online buying experience for the start of the new season.”

David Heath, Brentford FC Managing Director, finished, “We’ve been both delighted and very impressed with Mark and his team at ts.com and look forward to working with them.”
